Have you ever tried Gun Effects? I've used them a few times when I was over that way and they were awesome.

I've had my share of bad attitude from staffers @ the Cerritos store, especially from the cashiers.

Their Santa Ana and Ontario stores have been fine though.

I've bought two firearms at the Ontario store and one at the Riverside store. All three experiences were positive. Shopped at the Santa Ana store and got a bunch of ammo and they were cool there, too. Sorry the Cerritos store seems like a turd. It's a ways out of my usual territory but I'll be sure to avoid it anyway.

The last time I did a PPT with someone at Ammo Brothers Cerritos, ATF raided his house for selling too many off roster pistols.

I LOATHE going to the Cerritos location. Poor customer service there with very similar complaints as you OP. I have to say however that I actually love going to the Santa Ana Location. Very friendly and professional there.

The Santa Ana one sucks, too.

I went in to buy a Kahr PM9 because I was looking for a concealable firearm that would conceal well in office attire, but some tacticool wannabe operator looking guy behind the counter scoffed at the thought of me carrying anything smaller than a G26, and gloated at the fact that he's able to conceal a G19. Apples vs oranges, bro. I wear wool dress pants...he was in baggy cargo shorts.

Anyways...needless to say...I didn't buy the gun from there.

After shopping there a few times for small items I couldn't bring myself to spend anymore there. They seem to be doing fine without me. 2Azone FTW

It appears to me that some gun stores purposely making PPT processes PIA to chase away PPT folks.

                        BINGO

If you requested to file a "SAFE AFFIDAVIT". I'd be willing to make a substantial wager that they lied to you.

I tried the Dyson Ball Cleaner ... but maybe this kicks it up a notch.

I have also had multiple bad customer service experiences at the Cerritos location. LOTS of attitude there. There are good workers there, but the staff overall is just lower caliber especially when compared with Guns Direct or Riflegear.

Ontario is the polar opposite of Cerritos. Great customer service there.

Made 2 trips to the Cerritos store in 2008 or 2009 when ammo was in short supply.
Was not impressed with the apathy and lack of service.
                              Glad I haven't been back.

Every time I go there, I'm reminded why I hate the place. Unfortunately, my last PPT refused to go to either Alamo or 2A Zone, so I had to do it at Ammo Bros.

I'm at the Cerritos store right now. Six employees behind the counter and only one working. After waiting 25 minutes, I ask if I could get service because my kids and wife are waiting out in the car for me. They tell me to just wait. "It's all right, I'm still getting paid" I hear them say to each other. Yet they have a person whose job it is to sit there and ring people in the door.

Furthermore, their sales people have attitudes and exhibit low gun knowledge. Some of them didn't recognize what I was picking up (a HK P7), so they start playing with it and dry firing without asking me. That's just disrespectful.
You get better service at certain Turners stores. Fast and very professional in my experiences there.
