Range etiquette: what would you do?

That happened to me once at a gun show, a guy was trying to get some light into the action of a shotgun to see if it was loaded as I was walking by, I had to grab the barrel and thrust it towards the ceiling and away from me, we made eye contact for a second or two but neither one of us said a word, he got the point.
