In Huntington Harbor, the Navy has a base there. It is part of the Los Alamitos Naval Weapons Station, where they load arms onto ships for the Pacific Fleet.

They could close it down in a few minutes if they had to.

Going to the indoor range today for handgun exersizes. Yes, I packed it all up yesterday. I've had too many "senior moments" to not double check and pack ahead. Too many calibers and guns to run out the door.

Indoor range bag is almost always ready with ammo, targets and can place guns inside pretty quick....like less then 5 mins.

Desert trip maybe like 30 min cause I need more ammo and steel.

        Bug out is ready regardless.
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

My range bags and separate bug out bags are always packed with everything I need EXCEPT firearm and ammo.

Range bag has tools, cleaners, hearing protection, safety glasses, targets, tape, etc all ready, just grap a firearm and ammo

Bug out bags are packed with food, water, first aid, supplies, etc, just grab a firearm and ammo.

Both can be ready in under 3 minutes.

a range bag should not turn into a purse

Bug out is a funny subject.

Think we are going to get in a war situation with North Korea?

After yesterday's range outing I decided to fill the bag with everything. Yes, now it's a purse but at least I don't need to remember anything again.

Now all I need to do is not forget the guns!

I'd bet we will, but I'd also bet we won't see any of it on the mainland. How would they get planes and boats here without anyone noticing? Well, aside from the magical EMP electronics scrambler they used in the Red Dawn remake

The NK situation is going to get ugly - but I just don't see the need for bugging out becoming a reality from it.

Heck, in WWII, the axis powers absolutely could have brought their fight to the mainland, but they didn't because they knew it would be suicide. Even the japanese who were OK with it being a suicide mission never got closer than Hawaii.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I have a wife so going anywhere quick isn't going to happen.

I found it's faster if you leave her home. My other trick is to set all the house clocks an hour early, that way it get there just in time!
