'Theory', may be a too technical a term for the question. Just interested in if peeps are buying all different loads or just loading up on their preferred cartridge.

Speaking only for myself, the bullet weight is not relevant in my purchasing. I would speculate that it is not relevant to most non-competition shooters.

Congrats on your first handgun! If it wasn't a 1911 model then make sure to have one on your list. Best damn trigger that has to be felt in ones lifetime. ( IMO)

I bought my 1st gun last month. I just received 1000 rounds of 9mm I ordered online. I will probably by another 1000 next month. ****, I may do this until the end of the year. Each month, 1000 rounds.

On the contrary, The TRUE ROOKIES will hold off 'til oh say mid-November and start panic buying all the ammo they think they'll possibly ever need. They certainly won't be alone smoking their credit card balances.

Just had 1k rounds of 9mm from Target Sports arrive yesterday. Still need to stock up on some more 45 ACP. I reload 45 ACP, so it isn't that important, but I want to make sure I have solid stock of factory rounds. This will probably do it for me for the rest of the year.

Prices are the best I've seen in a VERY long time.
