How many guns do we really need?

To be honest, I think my wife has a point when she asks me why I have so many guns. Even CG'ers have questioned why I have so many.

Because of this:

One. Always one.

One of those, one of these, one like this, one just so.

No such thing as too many. Just not too many at a time.

We all need to have fun....
And ammo goes away
In 10-30 years, the guns will still be around and worth a lot more than almost any other hobby equipment

If I have space in my safe, then it's time to buy another gun.
If I no longer have space in my safe, then it's time to buy another safe.

OP since you asked you have 2 too many guns. Gift me the USP Bitone (I'm guessing from the pic) and the Glock and you should have just enough!

my wife asked me that questions once, but I have way more than 3 guns. My answer was why does she need so many rather expensive purses...and I survived

On your current guns, you are missing a good muzzleloader, I prefer flintlocks but any muzzleloader will do. You also need a few cap&ball revolvers, at least one colt and one remington. Hoping that the revolver in the lower right corner is a .45LC, I definitively see the need for a Henry in .45LC and because I am big fan of same caliber weapons if either of the other 2 revolvers are .357, then you need a .357 lever also.

My wife knows how many I have and when I buy a new one. She will ask me why do I need it ? I tell her i don't "need it" but I do want it. She give me the look and says OK.
I find no need to try and hide anything from her she has her own guns as well and will go shooting with me here and there when she's not out shopping.

Unanswerable. There's always going to be a new, interesting gun that I will want to add to the collection.

At any given time you only need one. The circumstances surrounding the situation will dictate what firearm I will need and I have every possible situation covered.
