photobucke it a hassle for me as well i use it because i have the photobucket uploader plug in otherwise i cant seem to upload to it

Photobucket straight crashed my new laptop. Brand new I7 Intel with plenty of RAM and video card. Froze it and I had to do a hard reset. That's absurd!! I switched to flickr

Ive had my complaints about photobucket for a while, but last time I used it... wow! Almost unusable. Another example of a website popupping itself out of existence. Im heading over to imgur. Good riddance.

Imgur and Flickr are free. Flickr has a "Pro" paid status that allows you to avoid seeing ads, but otherwise it's free.

I love Flickr (been using it for over ten years), but based on my experience and the responses in this thread, if you don't need the organizational features of Flickr, Imgur sounds like the best site hands down for storing photos on-line and showing them in forums. And it's free. And I've never seen any ads.
