Well it is about time! Didn't our own moron DeLeon state during a press conference something like "97% of the guns used gang related crimes don't have serial numbers"? Obviously those gang bangers have any number of garage workshops churning out "assault weapons" based on milling 80% lowers. Much more difficult and time consuming than actually just stealing a gun (or buying one on the black market), but what else do they have to do with their time?

I don't watch the regular news broadcasts, are they always presented with such breathless & shocking revelation?
Of course they don't bother reporting any current law, like the fact that Mr. Agent Man is now considered the manufacturer, or that not everybody can legally manufacture one. Love the way Mr. Man is cool with having a cameraman in front of the muzzle while he's blasting away (with no sights...) Wonder if he kept the rifle?

Oh really, so you're saying somebody with no experience building an AR, and probably has never used an 80% jig to mill the lower, was able to unbox all the parts, finish an 80% lower and build it all within "a couple of hours"?? It takes me that long just to mill a single lower, and I've done several, not to mention actual assembly.All the parts needed to assemble a gun were in the box when it arrived. It took Vasquez a couple of hours to assemble the weapon.
If they're going to just flat out lie, why not say when you open the box the gun assembles itself and automatically fires bullets all over the country targeting random innocent children, unloading a high capacity mag-clip at 300 rounds per second?

When I saw this on reddit, I made this comment on the "couple hours" assembly: He's a pro gunsmith and former ATF agent already, so probably had all the tools and expertise to assemble it in his sleep. They should have given this to anyone without a machine shop and without the training/practice of assembling such a firearm. Like the reporter himself.Comment
