Good, now in the mean time do some proper research on hunting and wildlife preservation instead of insulting gun owners with the yelp pics posted by whoever is managing your account there.
edit: Well look at that, they fixed the pictures with the insults bit. Good. Hopefully they educate themselves about the rest of the matter as well.sigpic

YepAnd doubly upset if a Ford dealer wouldn't sell me a truck because I planned to haul my killed game to the tagging station with it.
A gun is a gun. This shop refused service because of what OP wanted to do with the gun.
A joke of the first order. I don't care if they stopped in to say 'Hi' in this thread. I'd never set foot in the dump, and I'll make sure every person I know hears this story.
Christian cake bakers can be forced to make cakes for gay weddings but this guy gets a pass on a 'hunting' rifle? Give me a break.
Note to the FFL: you're in the wrong business.

Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.

Triggered much?Lazy guy. I do know how table top FFLs. And I think FFL is not a verb. Read my quote? I'll spell it out for you: "Give store a call. No waste anyone's time. Win."
You are butt hurt because you wasted your time, when in fact you wasted his and Our time.
Getting defensive, when you were actually the one who got offensive, "warning" everyone about an "anti-gun gun" store. They freaking sell guns. Just won't sell them to you, so you have to come to CGs and spread, yes, lies... wow. Can't believe I fell for this.
You are a troll, sir.
Have a day.
I am glad to know this shops views.
They are welcome to them, and the OP as well as me and mine are happy to express our disdain at the comments from the shop about hunters.
As such, I will spend my money elsewhere, and further, be sure I let my friends know why.
I have confidence they will do the same.
Thanks to the OP for the heads up.sigpic

Yep, the comments are juvenile.I just looked at the pictures. Normally i wouldn't blink twice, but I think the owner needs to look through these one more time..
1.
I am obviously totally for protecting yourself if the need arises. but "bust a cap"? Really? holier than though doesn't eat meat, anti hunting.. but if someone breaks into your house because they are broke, to steal your TV.. taking a human life is as casual as busting a cap...
a little insensitive, maybe!!?
2.
This sounds like at minimum, suggesting to brandish a weapon which is extremely irresponsible advice (and also illegal) especially considering the source..sigpic

I really never will understand people who are anti-hunting, nothing does more for our fish and game then hunters and fisherman. They are the number 1 conservationists we have, of course I am referring to legal ones not poachers.
I believe it is hypocritical by both types of shops, tactical only and hunting only not to support the other. It divides the 2a movement, I know personally if I know a shop in anti-one or the other I will take my biusness elsewhere.sigpic

Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!
The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)Comment

Had a similar experience there too when transferring a Shotgun. This was a location chosen by the buyer and I figured it may be a good alternative. The owner overheard me talking to the buyer about shooting doves and clays with the shotgun he was buying. After all the paperwork was done the owner escorted me to the door since he controlled who comes and goes. He was very polite when he then asked me not to come back unless I quit hunting. WTF, who are you to tell me what I can do?Primo Tactical Gun Shop & Lingerie Boutique in Walnut Creek
I think I know who wears the pants in that relationship lol ..Can't sell FFL hunting rifles, made him sell lingerie and name the place as such.. I didn't really see any lingerie in there anyway if anyone was wondering.
Mods, please delete this post if it violates terms
I also asked him if he was a vegan, but he said no and that he loves meat as much as anyone else. He said it’s an ethical issue for him. His ethics apparently do allow animals to be killed for his dining enjoyment though. A bit of a contradiction. I told him I like to shoot clays a lot too and he said that doing that was “just honing my skills to kill animals”. Again, WTF?
I have no problem staying away since the transfer took over an hour to do anyway. I thought about reporting him to the DOJ since he is required to do all transfers without personal bias, but figured I would just use City Arms where you don’t have to deal with any liberal politics and are in and out in about 10 minutes.Last edited by joepamjohn; 12-11-2019, 7:54 AM."You can't handle the truth"Comment
