I asked him if he was a vegetarian and after a long pause he said yes lol and I said that I could not believe he wouldn't ffl a gun to me for moral reasons and he just said that he isn't judging me or whatever blah blah blah and I pretty much left.

The "moral vegetarians/vegans" are the biggest hypocrites.

Their diet kills millions of animals, some because they are in the way of the harvest, some because they want to share the crops, some because they want a piece of the grains. And, they DON'T EAT or USE animals they kill - they just kill them for convenience.

I always tell those who preach morality to become gatherers and live on the land. That's the only way not to kill animals.

It sounds like the FFL doesn't have the ability to get what you wanted at a reasonable price and suggested Europtic as a place where you could order what you want and have it shipped to his shop.

He didn't want it shipped to his shop. He is a conscientious objector to hunting*.

Sounds like he wouldn't even receive it as an online order either.

And I would be upset if a Ford dealer wouldn't order me a Truck because they only have passenger cars on the lot because they don't believe in gas guzzling vehicles that pollute the environment. Just like how this business doesn't believe in hunting, but only like tacticool firearms.

I can understand some people not liking hunting (until their property is overrun with deer, that is). For those who don't like hunting, I try not to rub it in their face (of course there are trophies hanging on our walls) and in return, I expect them to refrain from lecturing me. For those who can't control their righteous indignation, I'm thinking about putting together a few photos that show what predators do to that cute deer or zebra.

Long time lurkers here. We originally intended our first calguns post to be an introductory post. We apologize for the poor etiquette. We suppose that can always happen later.

To the OP, we're sorry your first experience in our shop wasn't a positive one for you. We meant no disrespect to you or other members of our 2A community. Normally, we would have referred you to another local FFL who could better suit your needs. We dropped the ball here. We're glad UG Imports stepped up. We've heard great things about them. We've sent many folks in their direction and we're confident they'll take very good care of you.
