.45 ACP or 10mm?

Yup the brass is the hard part easy to find new but recovering your own brass doesnt always go so well as there is always pieces i miss.As for 45 seems like everyone in my group shoots it so that is very plentiful for me and they dont reload.

You also have to chase away all the other reloaders at the range who are practically trying to catch your 10mm brass before it even hits the ground

Somebody stated that round count is 2500 with the 10mm.

That was when used in a typical 1911 chassis and slide.

The people who think things up like that are of the same type that claim 10mm ammo costs 3 times as much as 45 when in fact it costs exactly the same.

Why not buy a 10? You can shoot 40 in it too. I have a buddy doing it with a kimber (because we love in Cali and our limitations. ******* lawmakers).

45's are awesome. I love mine. I'd get a 10 as an extra gun and more for fun than "combat". If I have more range I'll use a rifle. If I hunt I use a rifle. Handguns for me are for two legged targets at closer range.

I didnt know you can do .40 with the 10mm. That makes it even more appealing, beside the fact that it costs the same as .45 ACP, goes further, and packs more punch. Looks like I will have no problem finding a buyer should I change my mind about the P220 10mm. Always appreciate good resale value.

lol, I'm definitely a 10mm guy, but I do love 45 too. They really serve different purposes, which is why I don't really like to exactly compare the two. I thought I was going to sell my .45 glock after I got my 10mm, but I just can't do it. The dang thing is just too fun to shoot. That said, I hardly ever carry it. (and of course, as I typed that I realized I'm carrying it right now, haha! It's my jogging gun )

It's true. Just went to the range today. A guy who looking for stuffs behind me. Turned out to be a reloader on the hunt. Told me that he got 10mm last week. Gotta watch out for peeps like him.
