    Fed's gun stolen again

    This is ridiculous.

A submachine gun remains unaccounted for after being stolen from an FBI special agent's vehicle in the East Bay.

Good thing it didn't happen to one of us peasants. There would be 100 new laws added to keep dangerous weapons like the MP5 out of our undeserving hands.

FBI-San Francisco spokesperson Prentice Danner said there were no signs of forced entry and that there is an internal investigation ongoing as well.

Danner said the firearm and the magazine were in a lockbox in the trunk of the vehicle. The vest was not in a lockbox.
Locked in a LOCKBOX in the TRUNK. And yet NO SIGN of FORCED ENTRY?

My, what a considerate thief, that he took the time to relock everything after the theft. Without leaving any trace.

Mp5, full auto, chambered in 10mm with a genuine Hp mag? That is just so much win in one setting I wouldn't even know how to act around one.

Until the agents start getting serious discipline or terminations, they won't take this serious. They just go on in their career, no worry., no backlash.

Also, can we get this posted over in the OT section?

Sounds pretty sketchy. Someone needs to be fired and held responsible for anything that happens with that gear.

Sounds like we need Kate's Law #2.

He probably went to Shrimp Boy's Noodle House, valeted the car and gave the thief the keys.

How about we pass a law that makes agents responsible for their stolen weapons, like civilians.....

I'd venture to say they are MORE responsible than we are for their weapons.

If YOU have a weapon stolen from your vehicle.....report it and you're done. No muss, no fuss.

When LEO has a weapon stolen from their car....I'd think they get a little "black mark" somewhere in their file. Maybe even disciplinary action depending on the circumstances.

I remember a Marine getting his rifle stolen. He was a mechanic working in a "rear" area. Lifted out the back of his recovery vehicle. There were several branches of service in the area, no civilians or natives. Talk about hell unleashed on the poor guy. I always felt bad for the guy, good Marine and mechanic...

Why **** it up for them too? Why not try to get our rights back instead of dragging someone else down with you?
