Opinions on my next purchase

So I'm looking at something new to get and be my edc. I'm stuck between the Glock 23 and a Kimber Pro Carry 2. I've narrowed down between these two. I've shot both and actually like both. Being a 1911 fan, I do prefer the Kimber here, but it's a $300 plus difference in price.

What do you think you'd choose and why. I can afford the additional cost, but that's different than actually wanting to spend the extra. Looking for others reasons to see if there is a pro or con I've not considered. Thanks

Glocks are a dime a dozen. A good 1911 is priceless.

And Kimber makes a good product.

I never thought a choice between these two would be difficult. If you have the money to get the 1911, I would suggest doing it.

There will ultimately be another internal debate between the G23 and G30, if I choose the Glock

Can *you* maintain 100% reliability with a 1911? Many can. Many can't or won't.

I currently have a full size 1911, it just does not conceal as well as I would like. Butt prints a bit. Yes, I have 100% reliability with it.
