I take my S&W Model 19 to the range all the time. A great gun!

Automatics are popular, but there's nothing like the feel of a revolver. They're fast, accurate, and a lot of fun. I have two N frames (Mod. 25 & 57) and a 686, plus a Ruger New Vaquero (4") and a Western Arms SAA (7.5").

Most people see me shooting one of my 1911's when I'm at the range, but I dearly love these revolvers and do pretty well with them.

pffffttt.. Wheelguns. soon-to-be (if not already) obsolete pistol mechanism. Move over old men, your time is long gone. Hello semi autos! All you revover worshippers are clinging to the past. Only an irrational person would own such out-dated technology.

          That's why I only have 3.

Seriously, I don't have much against revolvers and they have their merit. but I still prefer semis.

Took this out to Iron Sights today...

Colt King Cobra 6" .357 Bright Stainless

Was the first handgun my friend ever bought (20 something years ago?). He asked me what it's worth and I told him, "not much".

Told him I'd take it off his hands, and offered him a nice semi-auto in trade for it.

                He said "no".
