I can think of several other examples of how our healthcare system hurts us.
Another is the lack of testing allowed for medical cannabis. While this is slowly changing, it is simply another area where we lag other countries.

I'm sure I could think of a few more drugs listed as schedule 1 drugs that are not in other countries and thus allow for research and testing that simply isn't even allowed here. I'm not talking about handing it out, I'm saying we are not even allowing testing to find cures from them.
I completely agree that there needs to be reform with the FDA in approving new treatments.

What would be more interesting if you can find info on which ways Americans as a whole have any system that is BETTER than anyone else's.
You mean like the medical tourism of Canadians coming to the US?

FYI, most of those medical tourism examples that you're attempting to cite are due to a strong dollar and not an inherently better medical system. It's important to understand the difference if you're going to try to use that to back your position.

        That is very scary.

The same people that react with aggression when you simply say something they don't like or disagree with them on something....

The same people that can smash your car windows during a "peaceful" protest...

The same people that justify thinking you are a lesser human if you support candidates they disapprove of...

The same people that think theit rights are different from your rights because you don't share their values...

...will now use deadly force in very situation where their feelings are hurt.

Are you drawing a parallel? Basically equating liberals to few mentally unstable individuals?

I completely agree. That is why it is scary. However, I think we can all agree that tragedies are tragedies, whereas liberals would probably shoot people and justify it as a necessary response when you simply disagree with them.

Do you see where I am going with this?

The only one I know anything about. They didn't take over the park over grazing fee. They took it over because two guys were thrown back in prison after serving their sentences for setting a backfire that saved their ranch from burning up. They also didn't use guns to take it over.

There are 350 million people in this country, give or take. It is ludicrous to attempt to put them into two buckets.

But Ludicrous is the norm on calguns for far too many.

These are supposed to be stupid basic generalizations though. The idea that bad actions of people have anything to do with how they feel about marginal income tax rates, social assistance programs, enviornmental regulations, or trade agreements has nothing to do with moral culpability of their politics, its simply the actions of individuals.

The people above didn't do x bad thing because they believe in x,y, or z policy, they did it because they made those bad decisions.

The attitude by many of the "conservatives" in this thread shows just how ridiculous the political division has become in this country, people on both sides have decided that they are correct based on ideas of moral or intellectual superiority, when in reality most arguments are grounded in sound logic. It is simply a difference in the prioritization of a subjective or unproven opinion of what effect a certain piece of legislation will have.

Why then do our politicians push the moral/intellectual superiority narrative? Because it allows them to get away with cognitive dissonance and hide their true intentions behind their legislative actions. Both sides do it, and the general electorate seems fine with failing to ask simple questions like "who benefits from this passing, and who benefits from this failing."

Then you simply don't know many liberals. I don't know of anyone, democrat or republican who would say that such situations are acceptable and justified based on a difference of politics. I'm sure there are people out there on the fringe for both sides who would think any of them justified, or at least excusable and understandable, but the vast majority of people who don't like abortion aren't ok with people shooting up clinics, just like the vast majority of people upset over a police shooting don't go out and start a riot (heck that Soros guy has even had to pay people to riot and protest lately).

But it is incredibly ironic that people who cite the fear of an overbearing government as a valid premise for the private ownership of firearms to say that others are being irrational because the tables have turned politically by who is in charge. Rest assured, Trump and his cronies will be just as happy with you under their boot as Obama and his ilk were, thats the problem with power, it attracts people who want it, its why we don't often get the best and the brightest in governance.

See, his comment is a great example of moral/intellectual superiority being a presuposition by the liberal.

It fails to account for the fact that at some point the vast majority of people believe an unborn fetus to be a human being due protection of the law. It's why crooks can be charged with murder if they beat up a pregnant woman causing a miscarage. Logically, at some point you have to consider the thing a human life, it isn't like getting squeezed or cut out in the hospital is some magical transformative instantaneous process.

And most people don't necessarily consider a collection of cells in a petri dish to be a human being entitled to the protection of the law either. Most people just can't agree rationally on when those cells become worthy of the protection of the law. It gets muddled with religious magic, and feminism or whatever.

I only know what I see and read. And what I see and read is that the largely visible liberal crowd is severely confused as to what our RIGHTS are, who can express them, and whether all opinions or viewpoints matter.

This is a calGUNS site, and the thread is titled liberals buying GUNS, and the reasons in the article provided were that they are buying guns because of an election result.

They are effectively preparing to exercise their 2nd amendment rights to possibly challenge the government. Something "THEY" said would never be needed. Remember all the media and politicians making fun of 2nd amendment advocates for saying that we have a right to challenge the government that is tyrannical.

While I agree that not all liberals are the same, as well as not all conservatives are the same, I do see a trend here, where many more liberals are justifying very wrong actions. Their thought process is amazingly illogical, and those are the ones I am worried about.

Much like not all Germans being nazis didn't prevent a war and millions of deaths, the fact that not all liberals being crazy doesn't prevent riots, and if they have guns, misuse of those guns on mass scale. That is, if they feel justified to do so.

I don't see republicans or concervatives riot, as in large scale masses destroying property, etc. But I do see liberals do it and saying that it is ok, and that they have their reasons, which makes it ok.

And as far as guns go, there are very much 2 buckets - pro-gun and anti-gun. Anti-gun crowd is fine with infringing all of the rights of the Pro-Gun crowd. Again, the section of liberals that act like idiots. The media is full of them, our government is full of them. etc.

It is funny you say that I must not know a lot of liberals. I work with a crap ton of them, who feel it is ok to discuss at work that Trump Supporters are idiots, but the moment a Trump Supporter starts saying something about Hillary they shut you down for inappropriate discussions.

It is funny that you say that not all liberals should be judged based on the actions of a few idiots. I generally agree. Just like I agree that not all muslims should be judged or prosecuted for the actions of radicals. So why is it that all gun owners are judged and prosecuted for the actions of a few idiots or mentally ill/unstable people?

In any case, I do find it funny that Liberals who said "you never have to challenge government with guns" are buying guns for that very reason. I do find it scary that there are a ton of Liberals who follow anything someone says buying guns. I do find it interesting that we - constitution supporters - have not done anything remotely similar to challenge the government while our rights have been infringed on an on-going basis.

Yeah, I don't know all liberals, or many of them, but I do think it is scary that some of them I see on TV may get their hands on guns and possibly misuse them, while the rest of us, with our severely infringed rights, will continue to obey the unconstitutional laws.

Statement from the national spokesperson for the Liberal Gun Club after the cited article was posted on Breitbart:

So far, Breitbart comments have not let us down on providing death threats (one called for target practice on me) and calls for banning liberals for having guns when one of my interviews got picked up by them. And a few good ole racist ones too. Go figure.
