That would be ****ty. This idea needs to be open source and something everyone can do.

Even though it was a joke, it's worth pointing out that once you publicly disclosed it on the web it cannot be patented by someone else.

If such a patent was issued and someone tried to enforce it, this thread would represent sufficient "prior art" to invalidate the patent.

So has the DOJ already said no to this in the US? Someone said that because it's box fed it's still semi auto. My logic doesn't see it that way. But when does logic come into play when we are talking gun laws. Curious what happens if he holds the lever release down.

Could you possibly rig it to the fcg/trigger and just have a double trigger pull? 1st pull bolt release, second pull fire, repeat.

Pull the trigger you say to drop the bolt?
