probably need proof that the ammo was first delivered to a licensed ammunition dealer when re-entering.

save/re-use your current receipts? definitely re-use receipts when receiving ammo from a license ammunition dealer?

our dear leaders will fix this "loophole" by requiring laser engraving of each round of ammunition sold to California to be enforced in 2019.

I thought most regulars here were stocking up months ago?

Prices were excellent that last time I bought.

Although prices still aren't that bad yet, why wait?

If I were staying here, I would simply bring it in myself from out of state - but as I'm outta here in 4 months, its academic.

They'll also require guns that index the ammo to avoid the microstamp covering up the engraving

and you'll have to fill out a DROS for each cartridge... or if you reload it's for each bullet, each casing, each primer, and each grain of powder.

there is no law that says a person cant buy ammo if they dont own the firearm that uses that ammo?

ammo registration / background checks , what if a person just buys a case of ammo that they dont own the firearm that goes with it? maybe they collect ammo but dont have the gun?

but then they would say it's ammo laundering, a way criminals could get ammo bought legally by a friend and couldnt be traced back to them unless they start micro stamping each rd?

I am for some odd reason very curious as to what ratio you have the 9mm , 380 and 5.56 in?
Is it something like an even 3 way split or .......?

Just to be safe I'm ordering 2k rounds a month and going to the range twice a week.

Ive been stocking up for many years, I buy a few boxes and shoot a few, but always make sure to buy more than I use to have a good supply.

ammo gets used up fast if you go to the range often

Well, when the guinea pig apocalypse starts, you'll wish you had 150,000 rounds of .380, too.

Do lots of practice at the range & outdoors with it. - go thru several thousand rounds a year.

Reload!!! Ammo will be legislated however, supplies seem to have skipped the licensing bit. In any case, I keep at least a few thousand in reserve just in case of all calibers I own.
