He looks young but he's getting there, at least he has proper trigger discipline.Originally posted by gwgn02G-shock, a good way to tell the time, and better way to tell the female variety you are unworthy mating material.Comment

It is NOT "safe direction."
There are four safety rules and he is violating one. The reason we have four is that it provides safety layers. NDs happen when *all four* are violated, yet we never say "it's okay to violate two or three as long as you don't violate all four."
Technically, he is actually violating TWO rules. Not only has he pointed the gun at something he is not willing to destroy, but he is also not treating it as loaded. Contrary to popular belief, the "treat as loaded" rule is not there to make people double check the gun is unloaded, but to prevent people from acquiring bad habits by developing different protocols for loaded and unloaded guns.
Now, realistically this is not too bad, but I wouldn't do it. It just doesn't add up to safe handling. It's much like not pointing a laser at your dog.sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment

Looks fine to me, people get their panties in a bunch about dumb ****. When you dry fire in your house are you not sweeping the entire place. Do you intend to destroy your entire house?
Only thing that i was curious about was earpro. Didn't look like he had any in.My rights aren't yours to vote away.Comment

No. The barrel points down when not aiming and aiming is in the direction where there is nothing significant behind the walls. Just a habit - remember, you always handle it the way you would handle a loaded gun.sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment
