In reality I've been going the other way, trying to shrink the collection down to a few basics, gettin' all Zen with it.

My mom thinks I only have one. Not that it matters since she's in her 80's. I played that game with my brother too. I like his style, need to know basis only. So when friends ask if I have two, I just agree.

Yea i usually give an estimate based on the last time i counted... before the boating accident....

To me it's like counting how many sex partners a person has had.. no one really has an actual number, but I can estimate..

Can't remember the exact number either. Maybe my pat answer should be "a couple"...a couple semi-auto rifles, pistols, lever guns, revolvers, ARs, bolt guns, shotguns...
