    Moving In With Inlaws issue

Cal gunners I need some help. Im moving in with the inlaws in september because im starting a new business and im in need to save as much on expenses til the business gets rolling for 1-2 years.

In laws one requirement is no guns allowed in their home.

I have handguns and 1 ar.

Are there any gun lockers around los angeles area?

Can I keep my guns at my new business site safely in a gun safe?

Do I need to change address with doj to my new address wherever I decide to keep them?

Only you can decide if your office is in a safe enough area. What's the likelihood of someone backing up a truck and emptying out your business?

Get a good safe, bolt it down and take all the normal business security measures, including insurance.

Good luck with your business. Hope it works out with your inlaws.

Your business is fine. Get a safe or decent gun cabinet.

Keep it discrete to avoid potential issues with curious people.

Assuming you consider it a decent area, have an alarm/security/cameras, I'd add you should tell no one, and I mean NO ONE that its there. Loose lips sink ships.

Legally, Yes, you can store your firearms at your place of business. No, you do not need to notify the DOJ.

Follow the safe security suggestions listed above.

                    1) If they ask for a ride, make sure they're not picking up a pound of weed

                    2) Don't give up your principals so easily

                    3) You don't "report" your address to DOJ except in specific circumstances.

First off, best of luck with your business venture Mr. Entrepreneur!

With regards to the in laws... that's tough. It really depends on the nature of your relationship with them.
It also depends if they're nosy.
In addition, how close are the bedrooms with one another? I don't know about you, but it'll be weird getting all romantic with mom and dad being in the other room and sharing a wall together
