Static weight over time has an impact, the footprint of most safes that size would be smaller than standing 5 guys together even uncomfortably. More weight in a small area is further detrimental to floors/supports. That's why raised foundation houses have sagging issues, especially in the kitchen and laundry areas.

It can be ordered with optional bullet-resistant cushions that can be used as shields.

The optional bullet resistant cushions, serving as portable, personal shields, will stop a 44 Magnum at point blank range. After you select your material color, delivery time is approximately six to eight weeks. Single cushion price.
      Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Cover it with a nice native American blanket and you have a nice coffee table
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

without meaning to offend you, i'll mention that a nice native American blanket is a treasure and i wouldn't use it to hide other items that i didn't want discovered. a thief that knows how/where to flip things would most likely take that blanket because of it's high value. i would store the blanket in an area where it's integrity can be maintained without frequent handling.

None taken I was just generalizing (if that makes sense) We have a few Native American items that we have collected over the last 30 years.

I'm not really suggesting to hide the tool chest because of the guns/ammo but more to hide the ugly bright orange paint. I'm sure that a decent paint job would help a lot with these. Once bolted to the cement floor and using both pad locks, I'd bet these tool boxes are more secure then a lot of gun cabinets, and full of ammo they'd have to weigh a couple thousand pounds.

I always thought they would be great for ammo storage..

              Happy Sunday to all
