Condo gun storage?

Hermosabeach..... My house was 3 bedroom... So the 3rd bedroom was my guitar studio.... And I had the safe in the closet.... Took up 1/2 the closet.... The condo is 2 bedroom.... Which means my wife and I share a closet now, and no room for the safe

Small indoor, climate controller storage unit. Just consider it (the storage rent) as part of your monthly condo rent.

can you get an Ikea Armour and build that around the safe... then set it into the second bedroom....

I don't know how big your closet was so I don't know how big a safe that takes up 1/2 the closet would be....

i have a townhouse and i keep a fairly good size early Browning ProSteel in the living room. i collect industrial furniture and have several very old Snap-on rolling tool boxes inside my home along with the Browning. most of my furniture is from the 1920s-1950s and the old Browning fits right in.

Check Out a Job Box...
36 inch in a closet with guns and ammo will not be able to be stood up on end ... Standing it up on end is how you get it in and out of the closet.. Plus 200- 300 lbs of guns and ammo makes the job a lot harder to Steal..
Job Box itself weighs between 45-60 lbs on its own... Google them..

These metal lockers are not safes but if you add a nice heavy latch they are adequate for the situation you describe. I just wouldn't use one of these for any guns not covered by your insurance.

Be sure to check the details. I was unpleasantly surprised by a $1000 per gun limit (although I did have replacement value coverage) including attached accessories although I'd bought a rider for additional coverage before I got into long guns.

When I did that my long guns were stolen along with motorcycle parts, electronics, and the other stuff guys accumulate.

What about a modular safe? This is about 330 lbs. 9 gauge. carry it up in pieces and assemble it in an hour. Door weighs about 90 lbs.

Yeah safe is to heavy.... Can't bolt it down etc...... Been looking at those wall mirror safes

Safes are not too heavy. Five grown men standing in a group weigh 1000 lbs. I have yet to hear about a group of 5 people crashing through a floor.
