I have purchased all of my OLL's as stripped lowers. Never been an issue before.

Well, all i have to say is, not every dealer is going to be OLL friendly, just know the law and call in advance to make sure your doing the right thing at that shop. If you think there mite be an issue with your transfer call ahead and save your self the pain. the bullet button only needs to be fixed if you have the evil pistol grip attached to your center fire sporting rifle, what if you had a monster man grip, HMMM no need for that. anyway call in advance save your self some time and then post here regarding what that dealer will need so people can go or avoid.

Wow I'm kinda shocked. I thought RCGE was OLL friendly and low on the FUD.
Robert Snelling is on the CG FFL list and is very OLL friendly. In fact he sells stripped Stag lowers."Thugs do not belong in a civilized society."

you must of gotten an uninformed employee helping you because RCGE is very oll friendly. The two younger gentlemen that work there are great black rifle guys that can help you on anything and are very knowledgeable. Everytime i go in there, i make sure i get someone who knows what they are talking about to help me because there are a couple that don't seem to know anything. Next time, ask for Paul to help youComment

At my shop we do not PPT stripped lowers either. They must have a RRA NM Parts Kit, Bullet Button, 10 Round Magazine, buttstock and an upper installed before we will even touch it. For customer ease we sell all those items in our shop and will be happy to sell you all of that so you can complete your PPT.
