I'll just let my muzzle flashes guide the way!

That's why the librards don't want us to have 30rd magazines! Too much illumination.

Tacticool bragging rights...but only if you incorporate the roll.

Seriously, my neighborhood had a brief power outage the other night and it got me thinking about being able to navigate in total darkness. Fortunately I walk around I the dark at home a lot anyway.
      Sorry, not sorry.

I do this regularly. I can get anywhere in my house without light including up/down the stairs without running into stuff. i've perfected it.

When I wake up in the middle of the night and walk from point A to point B in my house, for whatever reason, the only thing that I seem to run into or trip on is my German Shepherd. Go figure, a 100 lb. all black lump that likes to sleep in various spots around my bedroom will apparently be the death of me.

Can't do it without stubbing my toes and spilling my spleen out. Is that what you are hoping for?

I do this every morning about 1am, what's the big deal ?

Go and buy some Red Cross Blackout Buddy flashlights. They plug into the wall and can be set to run constantly or turn on when the power to that outlet is off (i.e. Blackout). I think I got mine at Best Buy last year for like $10 along with a hand crank weather radio $35 that can also be used to charge phones. Already had its big brother with a small solar panel for $45.

$10 for a 200 lumen flashlight at Wally store. Buy as much as you need.

                      Only 10?!?

I've got two unopened 3-packs of Duracell (Costco) minis, 2 full sized "C" cell, 3 rechargeable high output, a "D" cell lantern, High output attached to HDW, all within a 20 foot span. And each room in the house has at least 1 rechargeable and 2 high output. Plus a few in the garage. Probably around 22-25 total.

And I just recently purchased a few of the shadowhawk 300 lumen ones that were linked by a member.

Hmm, sounds like a game played in the basement, right before you hear a voice saying "It puts the lotion in the basket."

Why not try emergency egress from 4 decks down while choking on blinding JP5 smoke? That's alot more fun.

I've lived in my home for almost 28 yrs. now, I know every inch of it. I am confident I could find my way around in total darkness, besides, my G22 has a Veridian light/laser attached.
