Dwalker and others can “hate” the NRA for whatever perceived error or lack of specific action they choose to identify. It is important to keep in mind, that the NRA if the only national organization that “walks” the halls of congress. If the NRA was so ineffective, why do the anti’s and the news media constantly attack the NRA?

Just because the NRA does not fight exactly as some think, does not mean they are not an effective 2nd amendment advocacy organization. There is no legitimate reason for any gun owner to not be a member of and financially support the NRA.

To not support the NRA is naive at best and is exactly what Hillary, Schumer and the million mom’s, etc., want.

There is a very big difference between choosing not to be a member of the NRA for personal reasons and openly attacking them for perceived issues.

The NRA was barely noticeable in CO, RMGO, MAGPUL, the SHERIFFS Association, and PRIVATE CITIZENS are who stood up and faced the .gov/ They are the ones who got two of the Dems who voted for the bill recalled, not the NRA. The NRA could have cared less. When was the last NRA led rally in a capitol against gun legislation? Where are they when CA is facing a whole slew of new gun laws?
Been to a range lately? Noticed how many Asian, Russian/Eastern European, Latino people you see at the range? Ever ask them if they are members of the NRA? Ever listen to thier answers?

I would rejoin the NRA in a heartbeat if they did what they claim to do, but they are not. And they NEED to.

dwalker: "How about you give specific examples of how the NRA has acted on gun owners behalf, "

        Ok see below:

http://www.businessinsider.com/state...control-2013-4 "Looking at the data collected about legislation that was signed into law, states passed an average of 4.8 NRA-backed laws since 2003."

News, events, and information about the 2nd amendment coming from state legislation.

https://www.nraila.org/articles/2015...e-adjourns</b> Texas: Major Victories for Gun Owners in the Lone Star State as Legislature Adjourns

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/15/ma...-nra.html?_r=0 "Four months after the Newtown shooting, on April 17, the bill failed to win the necessary votes to make through
the Senate. The most fearsome lobbying organization (the NRA) in America prevailed once again."

OPEN YOUR EYES, AND THEN REJOIN. Just because they are not doing things the way you think they should does not mean they are not in the fight.
