Seriously, especially after they removed his unwarranted feedback and he's now left it again.

Someone kept leaving me multiple negs in retaliation one time. Mods would not respond but then finally took care of it. What is strange is they did not punish him. I'd think a ban is in order if a mod removes retaliatory feedback and you still leave a neg again after mods remove it.

Maybe the rules should be amended to reflect that a moderators decision on removing a negative is final and if leaving it again after that you are subject to a ban. I got my multiple negatives because "I have no compassion". I was left hanging in a dark parking lot late at night. Given a BS questionable excuse the next day then insulted via multiple PM's when I asked seller to meet me closer to finish deal after what he pulled.

They removed it again, we'll see if he just does it again.

I think that no-shows without a reason are absolutely grounds for a negative. It costs money for diesel, and time isn't free.

Oh hell no, if I was that mod I would def temp ban for that shenanigans. He looks otherwise to be a good member, contributing outside the marketplace etc. Totally weird.

Probably reading this. bryan16, just hit up david916 already, wtf are you dragging this petty garbage out? Serious. Could all be forgiven with a manly stance.

Actually, what I would do is apologize, drop the price to $400 and reschedule the meeting and show up this time. But that's me.

In my situation the seller had like 47-48 postive transactions then like 2-3 negs in a row I don't know why he suddenly decided to be a scumbag. OP, what was the deal and item and price? Yes if I was a mod I'd definitely ban or at least warn than ban someone for multiple retaliatory feedbacks.

Discount it to 400 and actually sell it to me.

He had a post where someone posted il take it. It was days later and no update to the post (didn't say sold or spf). I messaged him if he still had it I would buy it. 9 days later he sends me a pm saying I still have it but I removed the post, so I can email you the pictures ( I wasn't sure which one it was cause I sent multiple pm's cause I'm looking for a Glock 19). He emailed me the details and pics, Glock 19, no mags (cause he's Leo) for 460 and I said il buy it. We made plans to meet and I showed he didn't.

You, me and just about everyone else man enough to keep their word would think similarly. Not showing up at all is the lowest a Buyer/Seller can get and re-negging on the price is just as bad. Where and how these people were raised is beyond me. Sober up people and get rid of your Meth buddies and crack pipes.

The rule says a "Negative" is for when money is lost or product is misrepresented. So, no shows are a definite Negative rating.

A Neutral rating should rarely be used for something like:

The guy shows up 40 Min late. Has not bathed in 2 weeks and smells like old butt. Picks his nose at the counter and wipes it on his jacket before wanting to shake hands.
But, the gun is as described plus a few boogers on it and some moldy old french fries in the case. OK. That is a "Neutral Rating" if you want to give an iTrade rating.

I wish a Moderator(s) would chime in and explain how they look at it and why they are so much against leaving Neg ratings whenn it is warranted and deserved.

I really don't want to jinx my run here but I'll risk it.
I've had 100% positive experience here. Admittedly, I buy and occasionally sell but communications have always been top notch going both ways. There have been a few deals that fell apart on the seller's side mostly because of "seller's remorse" I think and life logistics meeting up can create issues unless one of the parties is really motivated.

For anyone tired of flakes, if the price is fair and you want a hassle free transaction AND can PPT during the day at Jackson Arms, Elite Armory, Tracy Rifle and Pistol, Brentwood Rifle and Pistol, City Arms East, or Triple A then let me know.

OP has the seller reached out to you at all?

I have been very lucky as every Calgunner I've dealt with has been pretty good. Some minor glitches here and there, but nothing that warranted a negative or neutral feedback.

Not once, all the flake did was leave bad feedback twice.
