I've had great experiences with all my PPT's except for just one. Seller agreed to meet me on a specific day and time. I showed up with my daughter as I was planning to buy the gun for her and put it under her name since she has a FSC. When I showed up, the seller said the FFL would not do the PPT because the gun belonged to the seller's girlfriend and she lost her driver's license but brought her passport. In any case, the seller felt bad and dropped the price by $25 as his way of saying sorry and that as soon as she gets the replacement drivers license, that we can meet and complete the deal then.
I patiently waited for a couple of weeks and then sent him a text and he said didn't get the CDL yet. Another week pass by and I texted him again and no reply. Then one day on a Saturday morning, he text me and said we can do the PPT today but it turns out that I was busy and my daughter is not around for a couple of weeks for school. I told him that I can meet up with him on Sunday to do the PPT under my name but he didn't want to drive from Concord area to Livermore. I then mentioned, how about meeting me at Dublin at Guns, Fishing and Other Stuff and he never responded.
That evening he bumped his thread and posted that he felt he listed the price too low and raised the price $50 more than what he agreed to sell it to me for. I texted him and PM'ed him with no response. Then I posted on his ad and basically said if you are not a man of your word, then go ahead and sell it for more. Sure enough, he sold it to someone else for more money.
We had a verbal and hand shake agreement and after wasting both my daughters and my time to drive 40 minutes to meet him the first time, I was upset but didn't leave a negative nor a neutral feedback for him. I believe in Karma so one day he will get a taste of his own medicine.Comment

That's fine, I would have had no problem with him canceling but this guy cancelled without letting me know.I had a bad experience with another member a few months ago. Maybe I should say he had a bad experience with me. I didn't flake on him but I did change my mind. It was right after the San Berdoo shooting.
I didn't sell\trade the gun but he would have had every right to leave a bad feedback for me.Comment

I've had ome kind of similar thing but the buyer didn't have a matching address and didn't have what they required to do the transaction.I've had great experiences with all my PPT's except for just one. Somewhat this. No comms is the sin. Some crap happened, you're hamster ate elderberries and died? Fine. But be manly and talk to me, don't ignore.
Comms is KEY to smooth dealing here.
Good luck OP, hopefully it was some legit mix up.Stand up and be counted, or lay down and be mounted... -Mac

So the flakes name is Bryan16. Wasn't gonna put him on blast but since he goes and leaves me negative feedback 5 minutes after I leave him neutral feedback I don't really care. Guys a real piece of work, can't respond to numerous attempts to make contact but immediately can leave retaliation feedback.Last edited by D.A.V.I.D.; 01-24-2016, 10:41 PM.Comment

Straight up ghey. Looks like a lot of interest whatever it was, my guess, sold to higher bidder. So the flakes name is Bryan16 or real name [redacted]. On the 11th I messaged him that if it wasn't sold o would buy it cause it never said sold or spf. He responded on the 20th saying he never sold it and it's still available and that he had then deleted the post but would email me pictures. He did and then we made the agreement. and that's the last i heard from him.Comment

Well then my theory doesn't hold water. He had a bunch of asks in the thread before you even got to him.On the 11th I messaged him that if it wasn't sold o would buy it cause it never said sold or spf. He responded on the 20th saying he never sold it and it's still available and that he had then deleted the post but would email me pictures. Moderators took his rating away. I just told them look at our messages you can see our deal and his avoidance.Comment

What was the item and price? And I'm still wondering why this does not merit a neg only neutral? Time and gas were wasted waiting for a no show that seemed to sell to the highest bidder after a deal was made.
I really dislike selling hwre especially guns. I want to leave more off list guns for you all when I make.my final move out of CA but probanly won't I'm tired of dealing with flakes and window shoppers and lowballers.Comment
