The only chance for the Republican party party to win the house is if Trump is the nominee. Trump v. Hitlery, maybe Trump. Cruz v. Hitlery, Hitlery win soundly win.

If Trump or Cruz don't get the 1237 required delegates, a contested convention would result in a vote between Trump and Cruz, right? I don't see that as unfair, since neither one of them would have gained over 50% of the votes, which means that neither one of them are the "people's" choice. And, given the choice between Trump and Cruz only, the "people's" choice may not have been the same if there were only two in the race. (I realize that if in the 1st vote no one gets the 1237 votes, it becomes a brokered convention, which could result in someone other than Trump or Cruz winning, which would be terrible - agreed. And I also realize that if Kaisch is still in the race during a contested convention, some of the "establishment" have been advocating supporting him, which would also be terrible. But, I don't think Kaisch has a chance in that situation either).

I hope that one of them (Trump or Cruz) gets the 1237 delegates before the convention.

for the primary, I am registered as a dem so Bernie... yeah I know, but hear me out...
California is blue. Period.
registering as a republican and voting repub in the primary serves little to no purpose here.
My plan is to get as many people to vote Bernie as possible to prevent Hillary from winning CA.
The worst thing that could happen, and it is already underway, is that Hill takes the nomination.
Registering as a dem and voting for the dem who would be less likely to win in the general election or who is the lesser of two evils on the dem side should he/she win the general election may serve to either get a repub elected or keep the worst anti-gun dems out. Think about a Brown vs Newsom ticket; who would you vote for?
Once the primaries are done, I will vote for whatever repub takes the nomination, probably Trump as things look now.

Until the 2A is defended at the supreme court level, all gun rights are at risk. We need pro gun justices badly right now. This is a turning point.

CA has more Republican delegates than any other state and is mostly a closed primary so the fact that we are a blue state holds no weight for the primary. Your Republican primary vote would have mattered here.

There is almost no chance of that, we will only get a establishment rino at the brokered convention.

Cruz is a more demonstrated politician, and more of a republican than all the others.

Cruz is also UNELECTABLE. He will simply not be able to pull in the gay vote, the woman vote, the black vote, the minority vote...his arrogance will cost us the presidential election if Trump doesn't get the votes, along with the rest of the Republican establishment looking to torpedo the Donald.

Cubans don't see him as a Cuban. I don't see him as remotely Hispanic - and God knows I am one. Latin Americans would much more readily vote for Bernie whose anti corporation message is louder than any Hispanic sounding name Cruz could garner. Had Cruz been conducting rallies in Spanish all over the place, perhaps; hasn't happened. Minorities see him as just another white guy with a Hispanic name. Whatever.

Hilary could FOAD as far as I'm concerned. She can choke on it.

Having visited unfriendly places wearing uniforms and getting to enjoy communist atrocities first hand, Bernie should be jailed for treason - but that's just my opinion. How simple messages such as "Free Education" get so much traction boggles the mind, but the current low information voter lives in twitter soundbites.

I would like it to be Trump. Geezus he keeps getting suckered into traps by the conspiring media, and so many of them try so hard.

Trump currently has a 20 percent lead over Cruz in New York.

Betfair and others have Clinton winning this election by a 66 percent margin.

This election cycle is insane. Anyone but Hilary, and I'd rather it be Trump.
