I didnt whine about anything. the second post i made was to reply back to a reply made. If you consider my first post a " outright attack" I hate to see what you consider if someone comes after you with a baseball bat or a gun. I simply posted a link and said that the guy was a bonehead. ( like many other posters on here do) I do have a right to state opinions. I SAID before that I dont give a crap about his rifle or his sales to california. I never once whined about not being treated fair IM NOT BUYING THAT RIFLE and never planned to. I just slimply posted another link to a seller who doesnt deal with california and IS ignorant because if he actually knew the laws he would know that rifle he is selling is completely legal to sell in cali. yeah you know me so well from a few words you read online. give me a break. Im so glad you form your opnions of people by a few paragraphs written online. You wouldnt know me if I walked down the street by you but you already formed your opinion. When did I outright attack any seller that doesnt sell to california? have emailed anyone telling them anything? no i didnt. I posted a link and said the guy was a bonehead. Holy crap call the FBI someone online made a post about a opinion he has. And NO I'm not gonna sit there and try to make someone change their minds about selling a gun. I found out most people have their minds set and you cant change it. And stop assuming things about me considering you know next to nothing about my personality or personal life.
By simply excluding anyone from California from a sale youre automatically discriminating against them based on all you stated/listed above IMO
The "outright verbal attack" was, of course, your name calling. The fact that you still don't know if the seller is knoweledgable when it comes to Ca. laws or not, just goes to prove that you don't care about the truth, and are just wanting to whine about all those people who won't sell to Ca.
As far as excluding potential buyers based on their state of residency, how could you perceive that as racist, sexist or predudicial based on religious beliefs? Or, do you think that the entire state of Texas is made up of straight, white, christian males?
BTW, several calgunners here have taken a proactive approach and politly educated out of state sellers about our laws. By doing so, they have changed the sellers policies. But, your right, finger pointing and whining is a better alternative.
jamesob,
I have to disagree with you about Ca. having the toughest gun laws for non-felons. While I agree that we have one of the toughest sets of laws, I think that many other states are equally tough and in some cases tougher. Did you know that several states do not allow a private citizen to possess +10 round mags? That's right, they passed laws and made citizens turn them in, sell them or ship them out of the state. At least here, I can keep mine. Some states have made it illegal to buy bullets (not loaded ammo just pieces of lead) and have them shipped to your home. In Ca., I can still legally own unregistered handguns. If I moved to Clark County, NV, I would have to get a "blue card" and register each and every handgun with the local LEA. Of course, we won't talk about firearms ownership in NY, NY.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

I choose not to register my self with a state that is far from freindly to gun ownersor dealers of firearms. When I first got the notice of Californias intention to limit your 2nd Amendment Rights by hampering interstate commerce I was outraged. I can see no lawful reason for your state to do this, it is an outright abuse of power. Why have the gun owners of California not taken this to the Supreme Court, or does the Gov't of California even recognize
the US Supreme Court. I am not trying to punish any one in California, one of the niceist states I have ever visited(2 sons
graduated from MCRD San Diego). But due to the current Regime I sure couldn't live there. Take back your state!
I do understand your position
Good Luck

Oh, so as a righteous reaction against the Government of California you have chosen to limit the 2nd Amendment rights even further by boycotting the gun owners who live here and who are a minority in this state.

We are working on it. And we need your help, not your f*** California attitude. After all, California is still part of the United States Of America. Any gun owner can help restoring the right to keep and bear arms here in the Golden State; http://www.calgunsfoundation.org/main/ is accepting donations from all freedom loving Americans regardless of where they live.

Yeah My first post was a real whiner. get a life dude
IF the seller was knowledgeable about gun laws in california he could simply write in DUE TO THE GUN LAWS IN CALIFORNIA bla bla bla no sales bla bla bla. Youre assuming he knows the laws Im assuming he doesnt. Simple as that dont read more into it than what it is.
Excluding anyone from a sale is biased ( call it what you will) unless simply the item is illegal in the state. yeah thats my belief so what? you have yours I have mine yet you choose to call me a whiner simply because i dont become this all helpful person that tries to sway peopels opinions and find out every little iota of information. im sure you sat there and patiently emailed everyone and got every bit of information before making a decision. yeah im sure you did
Some people have the time to go call and speak and cajole sellers into switching their policies. Why is that? it wouldnt be because they want to buy something from that seller would it?
As for your opinion of me dude you dont even know me. Like I told the other poster youre so ready to form a opinion about me and my thinking when you never spoke one word to me. I dont form opinons about anyone based on what they post. I reply to some posts simply because its a opinon thats it. nothing more nothing less. You wanna read more into it than me thats fine go ahead.Comment

I've NEVER ASSUMED that the seller knows anything. I've just pointed out the fact that you are making statements based completely on your assumptions and not even attempting to learn the facts.Yeah My first post was a real whiner. get a life dude

Of course it's bias. There is no law (that I know of) against being bias about one's state of residency though. The seller is bias and prejudicist against Californias, so what. The laws regarding firearms transfers are also bias since, they exclude minors, felons and certain non-residents from legally purchasing firearms. Hell, Federal laws even forbid adults between the ages of 18 and 21 from purchasing handguns even though they can legally own them.Excluding anyone from a sale is biased ( call it what you will) unless simply the item is illegal in the state. yeah thats my belief so what? you have yours I have mine yet you choose to call me a whiner simply because i dont become this all helpful person that tries to sway peopels opinions and find out every little iota of information. im sure you sat there and patiently emailed everyone and got every bit of information before making a decision. yeah im sure you did
My personal opinion of you is based soley on this thread. I'm not trying to form a definitive opinion about you. At this time, it doesn't make a difference to me. If I meet you at a range, I'm sure we will end up swapping firearms on the line, telling stories and having a good time. I am just tired of all the people here who believe it's their right to force others to do bussiness with them. It's not. Some people have the time to go call and speak and cajole sellers into switching their policies. Why is that? it wouldnt be because they want to buy something from that seller would it?

+1...I like it.......TO ANYONE WHO WON'T SEND TO CA DUE TO CFLC, I HAVE YOUR NEW MISSION STATEMENT:
"I support the 2nd Amendment, until the fight becomes annoying. I will do all I can to support the Constitution, unless the paperwork is really burdensome. When my brothers behind enemy lines are besieged, I will stand with them until the government makes me fill out forms in triplicate. It was my thread. Is this one of those "Californian meets Californian" and it all goes to hell or something, man i wish i could remember what thread i saw that in.
Cliff's Notes: An employee at JW Guns in Riverside got hysterical, threatened to cut my lower receiver in half, and started making racist comments. The "Californian meets Californian" post was written by Pvt. Cowboy.
Pointing out vendors who think the danger of getting writer's cramp from a little extra paperwork is worth watching the 2nd Amendment die in California isn't a tantrum. We need to educate these people, and - if necessary - hold a mirror up to them so they can see the face of political apathy and cowardice. Can't wait until the next "These out of state meanies won't sell me a gun and I'm gonna throw a tantrum" thread.Comment

Maybe the person thinks that guns are illegal in CA just like how everyone in different states think we all are beach bum surfers?Comment

It's called jealousy, plain and simple. The only thing we don't have is the coolest guns. Every other department we got covered. Great food, The ocean, mountains, deserts, snow, sun, Technology capitol of the world(silicon valley), entertainment capitol of the world(Hollywood), and by far the best looking girls on the planet. And don't forget it's the fifth largest economy in the world. Did I forget anything? I LOVE CALIFORNIA!!!!I agree with both statements... Highest of highs and lowest of lowsyes we also have the toughest gun laws for non felons, highest vehicle registration, illegal immigration problem, highest taxes, emmission standards, lead ban, worst air in the country, most prisoners, biggest gang problem, biggest government deficit, best welfare system, and a democrat rule. i could go on forever.
