A lot of people won't ship any firearms to CA because either they are very paranoid or they don't want to deal with the CFLC.

Why don't you just flood they email with "Will you ship to California?" questions. Who knows, maybe they will get tired of it and just jump through the small hoop to deal with California so thye don't have to answer those questions.

ETA: Or better yet, get a good email conversation going about it, if you really want it, making sure it's the caliber listed, model, additional pictures, etc. and THEN ask if they will ship to California.

If he doesn't want to ship it to Ca. it's his right and his loss. I'm glad we still live in a country that allows us to choose who we want to do bussiness with. Yea, sometimes I may not like someone else's ideas but, that's the price we have to pay for freedom. I can't believe that anyone is such a "bonehead" as to not respect another's freedom to choose how they want to live their life, who they want to associate with or, who they want to do bussiness with. But, then again, the concept of "freedom" can be hard for some people to grasp. Espeacialy if, it inconvienences them.

I have found in the last year, any gun I have bought from the internet have adverdised "No shipping to Cailf" . ALL of them have shiped after a phone conversation from my FFL.

If you make it easy on the seller they will ship.

It's called jealousy, plain and simple. The only thing we don't have is the coolest guns. Every other department we got covered. Great food, The ocean, mountains, deserts, snow, sun, Technology capitol of the world(silicon valley), entertainment capitol of the world(Hollywood), and by far the best looking girls on the planet. And don't forget it's the fifth largest economy in the world. Did I forget anything? I LOVE CALIFORNIA!!!!

Just curious: why no shipping to California? Is your bolt action a semiautomatic rifle with a detachable magazine capable of holding more than 10 rounds plus a pistol grip and/or a flash hider? From the pictures you posted it doesn't look like it has any of the above so it is perfectly legal for this rifle to be shipped to a CA buyer. Or maybe you believe California gun owners should be punished and stripped of their 2nd Amendment rights?
