I did just note that they will sell you a pallet of 50k 223 for 14 grand. Running the numbers, if you can sell it for $400 per 1k (since it's out of stock at 345) then you will make about 6k after selling 50 lots. They have 10 pallets.

I wonder if buying and reselling ammo is legal (in quantity).

During the last panic, .308/7.62 was hard to find but not as hard as .223/5.56. The mil-surp stuff was going for about $1 per round. I stocked up on .308/7.62 this time around because buying it at $1-$2 per round made my .308/7.62 rifles dust collectors.

It's true, but my wager is on prices coming way down in a couple of months when all the new stock comes in. The big dealers out there are trying to get out in front of the possible panic buying (which this really doesn't feel like) and putting in big orders. When those come in, we'll see much lower prices.

One thing about the news is that it gets old really quick. As long as there aren't any new incidents that give the antis any ammo, our ammo supplies will be quite plentiful.

I went to pick up my ksg at guns direct on Monday and they had 333 Winchester and 525 thunderbolts in the shelf. The store was busy and no one was buying them. I picked up 3 boxes of the thunderbolts for 35$ each

I have been buying a case every 2 weeks, give or take since the proposed ammo ban by newsom. Looks like I'll have to shift calibers, could always use more 9mm. Got lucky and jumped on the zqi ss109 for 30 cents a round yesterday, it was even cheaper than a month ago when I paid 32 cents a round.
