I'd just build one from PSA. Free float 16" barrel and a nice trigger. It should be good for 500 yards with iron sights.

I would like to buy something like that just to learn how to do it.

The only thing that needs to go though a FFL is the stripped lower receiver. All other parts you have have shipped to your door.

I like the S&W M&P Series.

Coltaphilia is as strong as ever.

Well I heard their machines and tooling is blessed in the blood of 19 virgins and they use unicorn jizz as lube so that makes it better.

Personally I found the factory Unicorn Jizz a bit too sticky.
