Really it says there are more households due to single parents that is throwing off the household numbers...

As pointed out above, people fear that which they do not know. You don't think that folks in small rural towns in south claim they don't own guns do you? Of course they own guns. EVERYONE down there does. That which is "normal" is not feared.

        Be a proud gun owner.
You must have a really expensive car.

And yes, if it hadn't been for that tragic CG boating accident, I too would be above average.
        Sorry, not sorry.

My brother is a leo and last year he was telling me that one of his fellow officers was under investigation (for some off color comments that he made which caused concern among his superiors). He then said that during the investigation "they found out that he owns FIFTEEN GUNS", like it was a bad thing. Check that: maybe not a bad thing but a strange or shocking thing. I was thinking 15 guns for a leo or true enthusiast is at best a good start.

I've never told him the exact number of guns I own. Probably because he's never asked and also because at any given time I'm not exactly sure myself. But we go to the range together at least once a month and I always bring 1 or 2 guns he hasn't seen or shot so he knows it's more than just a few.
