Need opinion on Smith & Wesson Shield

I can't believe the folks knocking the shield for being "inaccurate". Mine's a shooter. Top target from 7.5 yards.



Sure I had a couple of flyers, because I'm human, but the center of the target is dead!

Funny seeing this thread, I put a Shield 9 in jail yesterday. I was looking for a new carry in 9mm and this one spoke to me.
Can't wait to give her a dance, but have to wait out the ridiculous hold period!

Still, I think its worth it, considering they might not be around after the 1st. As our leaders may enforce the micro stamp BS.

Thanks everyone for all the great input, I really appreciate your feedback. Before I forget the only little oxymoron is the new chamber indicater looks like it might get in the way of the sights,but haven't confirmed.

The LCI doesn't get in the way of the sights. It's just barely below them on mine. I will say, it is ugly as hell, though so I swapped it out with the Apex low profile LCI. No red, no lettering and about half the height. Not cheap ($20 on Amazon) but a big improvement.

Been carrying mine (9mm) daily for about a year now mostly in a Foxx Trapp IWB holster. The only thing I didn't really like was how small it felt in my hand. I recently put a Hogue grip sleeve on it and it made a world of difference.

Ok, so the 9 it is. I think I will wait to see if the chamber indicater will become an issue for me or if I will need to modify.

It won't be an issue but make sure it fits your hand good and it's for you,if you don't feel comfortable don't buy it.

You gotta be kidding me right?7.5 yd and this mess..I'm talking about 15 yd which I couldn't shoot where I aim and guess what when I shoot my LCP which is smaller it was alot better than the shield not mention better in conceal as well.
