If it passes, I see a lot of non-complience. There's already enough laws in this state to make anyone a criminal for doing anything.

Nobody should comply. Everyone should have plenty of ammo by now. Even if you don't, there is no way to enforce compliance. Gavin can FOAD...sleezeball coke head that he is.

i'm wondering, since the ballot only states "selling/buying" what about barter/trade or gifting?

as long as no money is being exchanged, we are legally not buying/selling thus we do not need to get background check or get the ammo card.

While you're doing that, the rest of us will be openly defying this ridiculous law by buying ammunition out of state and transporting it back into California.

Do what you got to do. Either you wont follow through with your threat or you will get caught and made an example of, but you'll 'show them'.

Let us know how Ex-Sen Lee is doing.

I quit writing letters, sending emails, faxing, calling and donating money. I have wasted enough time and money to know California will not ever give back 2A rights. I would get all worked up over every bill from creation to being signed into law. I would talk to everyone that would listen and many who wouldn't. For what.... oh, that's right just to wait two weeks for:

                -End of magazine ban
                -End of roster
-End of CCW Good Cause and shall issue
                -End of Purchase limits
                -End of 10-day wait
                -End of assault weapon ban
                -End of registration

                just to name a few.

Does anybody know whether the new proposed magazine law will also prohibit permanently blocked 30 round magazines? Or will we only be able to possess dedicated 10 round magazines?

Very true. The initiative will likely fail in court based on this alone. Unfortunately, knowing Californians, it will probably pass and leave us waiting for decisions from long protracted court battles.

Keep in mind, if we win: We pay through fees (through memberships, donations, etc.) and pay through tax revenu when the court sides in our favor and the municipalities settle. If we loose we still have payed through memberships, donations, plus we lose our rights. Its an endless losing draining system. Meanwhile, costing the liberals NOTHING (except the tax dollars if they loose).

If the system here is that lawyers ignore the Constitution, court precedent, on a level that allows politicians to (on a monthly basis) draft up un-constituational laws, then the system here is broken, and until we are forced to band up and literally fight for our rights, this erosion on our rights will never end.

I have better ways to spend my money, time. This state is lost.

This sums it up pretty good in California.

I've been voting for 37 years, I always lose in California. After awhile it gets through my thick skull that I'm wasting my time. Now if I was young and idealistic I might stay and bash myself against the rocks for another decade or two. But now that I'm older and wiser, why not go enjoy my time left on the planet. California is a sewer pit.

Already reload for handguns and am heavily stocked up in that dept but have been gradually stocking up on .223 and x39 rifle ammo (which i don't reload and have no plans to do start doing). Shooting matches and practice runs thru the handgun ammo pretty fast.

I don't shoot rifle enough to make reloading feasible for now. 10K of both calibers will likely last me forever. Only reason i've been stocking up is remembering the crush when nobody could even find bullets to reload their rifle rds and i couldn't even find finished ammo for desert plinking.
