    Good guy with gun wins

Good guy carrying a gun wins. Why don't we see this on MSM? (rhetorical question)

A South Toledo bar patron was shot and killed Thursday night after he fired at employees, authorities said. Keshawn Groom, 21, of Toledo died from ...

"Keshawn Groom, 21, of Toledo died from injuries suffered about 9:30 p.m. at the Spigot Bar. Mr. Groom was patronizing the tavern when he became disruptive and employees removed him. He returned a short time later and fired his weapon...Another employee fired back and Mr. Groom fled"

I would think that would depend on the circumstance. Can't follow the link just now but if the return fire was in the bar, then I'd think that'd be good. If they followed him out into the street a kept shooting at him....not so much.

He passed away after committing a crime. I call that swift justice.

I didn't read the article either but maybe they are considering charges relating to carrying in a bar? Or maybe they are considering whether or not to charge the dead guy with a crime.

The blurb in the OP says the person who returned fire was an employee of the Bar so I'm not sure. Supposed it depends on laws where it happened, but lots of bar tenders carry guns, or keep one behind the bar.

EDIT: Finally was able to read the article. Guess this all depends on Ohio and Toledo City laws.

Silly boy: that's what online forums and emailing links are for!

Since this was a case that did NOT require a CCW, I have not added it to my list of CCWers saving lives (link in my sig line). I've got 160+ examples on the 1st page of that thread and have started posting more examples on the 2nd page. (Will consolidate those onto the 1st page sometime in the future.)

Feel free to share link to my list w/friends, family, coworkers, shooting buds, antis, etc. I'll probably stop adding to the list when I get to 200 incidents.

                              We got an update:

“That’s my baby boy. My middle baby,” Ms. Dillard said. She described her son as funny, outgoing, and attempting to improve his life. He took care of his family, including his four children. (He's 21, unemployed and has 4 kids!!! Boy needed a job other than sperm donor.)

“He was doing good, actually putting in applications, trying to find a job,” she said. (emphasis added)

A South Toledo bar patron was shot and killed after he fired at employees, authorities said. Keshawn Groom, 21, of Toledo died from injuries suffered ...

Let's not lose the facts in the emotions. Bad guy shot first. Victim shot back. Bad guy dies. World wins.

Still no word on charges being filed. I hope they see nothing was done wrong by the actual victim.
