Well, so many people didn't register that the state decided it would be wiser just to let that sleeping dog lie and forgot about going door-to-door like some folks said they would.

I think the same thing would happen with this "serial number on bullets" nonsense. The day will come and go, the people will still have gobs of ammunition, and once again government will pretend everything's okay.
Kind of like the hi-cap mag situation in CA right now. Essentially unenforceable to the point that LEO doesn't even ask question about them anymore...

        * these two jerks were nobody property managers in the Seattle area until the figured out a way to keep skateboarders from thrashing on their property. They stole / appropriated the idea of the metal obstacles installed on escalators to keep people from sliding down the central portion and 'invented' similar such obstacles to be installed on curbs and such. Patented their idea and got rich. Then they turned around and looked for a way to repeat the patent-lottery and discovered the ammo serialization scam and set about putting this anti-gun weapon in their fellow liberals' hands.
I heard something on the news about the CA version of the bill. What happened to it?

the BS i heard is that your you would only be allowed 50 rnds a month. ****, i would have to wait 2 years to have enough ammo at the range.

so, if ammo has to be numbered, then you cant do your own reload?

Maybe we reloaders should stamp our brass with 04-19-1775.

It was two years ago and it wasn't. When they realized how much it would cost to put in place, they found other problems with it as well.

[QUOTE=nick;1748905]The government doesn't want to stop a poor illegal from coming across the border. It's not as hard to organize, if itreally wanted to do so.
