oh, and a bonus to whoever figures out all the references in it.
    .416 barret, .264 is 6.5 so 6.5 grendel, and 45-70 govt.
    Please, calm down.

I have bought ammo from big5 in Oceanside a couple of times and have never been asked to show id or give a thumbprint.

Probably because I always seem to be buying or picking up a gun when I grab a box or two. They have already seen my ID.

The manager of the hunting/fishing section has a pretty decent collection. We were talking about the OLL issue when I was purchasing my Nagant. Turned out he has two regd ARs. I filled him in on the OLL specifics and gave him the calguns address.

The offenders get all the sympathy, do the crime, then turn around and get welfare.

We as a society get nothing in return. Lock them up or deport them, I'm through feeling bad for people for a while.
Bay Area totally sucks. Worst (attitude-wise): SF and Berkeley. Oakland is just downright scary, though. I got lost there, once after dropping my wife off at work at the Emeryville B&N... Wow.

Going to the movies in Daly City and seeing cops hanging out in the lobby with SWAT pins on their chests... yeah. Great society here, really. The anti-gun laws are working great.

Once the wife's out of college, it's 1-800-Go-Uhaul for me.

I've never had my ID recorded, never had to thumbprint for ammo. I'll have to go back and try paying cash for it next time, though I'm almost never in Big 5, I use the local Pacifica shop (City Arms.)

If they did start recording my ID or ask for a thumbprint, I'd cancel the transaction, cancel my range trip, and order some on-line.

@ CAbrit05's question (how many murders does it solve?) I'd hazard a guess of zero-ish.
