Just got back home from the show and stopped by Scheels and Cabela's on the way home. I got there at 1:30pm and there was no line, and did keep seeing bunch of folks buying lots of ammos (in cans and had to used a dolly to push them out).

Went into the main hall and saw very minimal stuffs for AR (if you are looking for AR stuffs, go straight to the side hall by the far end), quite a few completed ARs they have for sale.

Flat top mid lengths are selling for ~$1699, another $500 more with EOtech 511 or 512 on it.
Still see some stripped lowers for $189, although there are only like 3-4 left. Also there's other stripped lowers for $299-399 (sorry forgot what brand, but hey, a lower is a lower)

The vendor i bought from had a few upper halves, but are going fast. They came from Olympia, Washington. Their price imo was reasonable. Ended up buying a complete upper half, folding BUIS, Magpul MOE stock, MIAD, ladder covers from them. Also bought a pack of 3 Magpul range plates for $15 (was gonna get them in Black, but had to settle for FDE since the guy who were in front of them beated me and bought the last 2 packs of them)

If you guys are going there in the morning tomorrow, you might still be able to get some AR uppers/lowers at a somewhat reasonable price for the time being.

There's NO 10/20 or 10/30 Pmags left, a vendor still has about 15 black 30rd Pmag for $24.95 when i left. Ammo stands were WAY PACKED and i didn't get to pick up anything from them. Saw some RED Pmags as well, LMAO

Stopped by Cabelas on the way back and bought 2 400rd boxs of AE XM193 for $75/box.

Went to Scheels briefly, didn't look around much, gf wanted to pick up a fudge there

So it's been a crazy one day trip, spent bunch of money , but i still think it's worth the drive since I got something at reasonable price.

      Reno Show Update...

I came back after work for the last hour of the show.

Miwall seems to have sold half of it's 5.56 and 7.62x39 ammo already, judging that the stacks were half the height they were at 9am. The 7.62x39 Wolf Classic was $399 for 1000 rounds, I recall. They had German Bundeswehr 7.62 NATO in green rubber battlepacks of 300 rounds for $180 and it was Berdan-primed. They had only about ten battlepacks left. The 5.56 Federal XM193 was still plentiful for the moment.

I know some local dealers firsthand and they said they've never seen a Friday like this one. Friday is just a gravy day where they don't normally do the best business, but not this time. Everyone seemed to be happy and can't wait for tomorrow's crowd when half of California shows up.

SOG Armory had DPMS, Spikes, DoubleStar, and CMMG lowers for $189, your choice. Assembled lowers with VLTOR or MagPul skeleton triangle stocks with a generic AR-spec LPK installed went for $399-$430. They had a lone POF milled lower for $439. A single Bushmaster stripped lower had a $275 tag on it. POF gas piston uppers all started at $1600 and were in pistol/SBR lengths and 16" length. DPMS 7.62 NATO lowers started at $375, assembled for $650.

I saw those Chinese Aimpoint clones for $140. They even had Aimpoint logos on the housing. Looking through them, they didn't seem very Aimpoint at all, but they were close enough that if I was in the market for an Aimpoint I don't think I would risk anything but purchasing from an authorized Aimpoint dealer anymore.

There were still lots and lots of mags left. PMAGs, GI steelies, etc. There's a new outfit there that only sells mags and they had them stacked up like cordwood.

Interesting deals are happening there. Everybody with a mag-fed semiauto needing to sell it for cash was there, and everyone panicking that they didn't have a magazine-fed semiauto was there trying to get one. There were some dealers really trying to take advantage of the panic. One guy had a new in box Hk94 with test target, styrofoam, manual, and accessories. I asked how much and he said $6900. I just looked at him with raised eyebrows and he said 'Find another one new in box'. I kinda nodded. He might get his price. Won't be me, that's for certain. Vintage ARs all seemed to start at $1800 and I didn't see one even as close to nice as my unfired five-digit AR15 SP1 that I still have box, manual, all accessories, booklets, and original padding and sales receipt for. Like I said earlier, AK prices have doubled and the dealers were getting all the money for them too.

I'll go again tomorrow and file one last report for those of you who might just try to get there for the last day on Sunday.

We went up today and as expected prices were high. Romy kits for $300, Wolf 7.62x39HP $299 per K (the FMJ was only $249), $350 Yugo SKSs. AK drums were about the same as last time ($150). I saw a Bulgarian AK74 krink kit for $750 and an RAA Saiga in .223 for $320. The only Pmags I saw were brick red and $24

They were out of the Wolf MC .223 that I feed my AR so alll I picked up was some AK and Mosin ammo and a stock, this is the first time I can remember coming back from Reno with money still in my pocket.

Hope you made it home safely back through the barbed wire and hicap magazine-sniffing dogs at the checkpoint. Don't burn California down with those tracers you bought, please.
haaa haaa you just described 24,594 people in my neigborhood and 2 of my cousins. LOL

My group is very low profile, in fact you might not even see or remember decriptions 32 seconds after you would have seen us.

But if you do see me I'll be wearing my OD Jeep ball cap.
Cowboy, are you working the floor?

Lets see how Sunday goes. God, how I love road trips.

Note to self....cash for the show....credit card for Cabelas.

Where were these red PMAGs? I read about them earlier and never saw them.

Either that, or I need to visit an optometrist... or a psychologist, maybe. Probably the latter.

yea, thats also when you get all the ****ty builds that didn't sell. AR's with messed up receivers, and romey ak's with canted sites.

But all and all that stuff can be fixed whit some decent smithing skills. So to me Sunday is the baron day. But this year. I would have been there Friday morning and started buying all the AR receivers before anything else!

Just got back. Same Reno show as usual just a tad higher prices. P-mags went up to $25 and only a booth or 2 had em. But plenty of LPKs, BCGs, and uppers. lowers too.

Is that right? $150 for 800rds of XM193? Sounds like a real good deal, especially right now. The cheapest I have seen was $340 for 1K but that was right after the election.

The red P-mags were not selling. Ammo was GONE!!!!!! I couldn't believe how many people were there today. I'm glad I got what I wanted yesterday. The prices on the guns/parts wasn't all that shocking, but the ammo sure was. NO ak compliant parts at all, that really got me. Oh well, mag parts and slings for me. And do to ammo availability/prices, whole new reloading set up from Cabela's also .
