I paid quite a bit more than that (add a zero) to DROS my first OLL.

      Bullseye on Sat

I here so much about Bullseye I go there on Sat 11/15 in the AM The prices were high.I thought the area might have somthing to do with it. A young kid with his dad was going to use the range an asked about the ammo on sale 1000 rounds 9mm for around mid $3's not sure exact price. anyway it was $17 a box of 50. instead of $20 I Said to myself this place is a ripoff. Started to panic then went to walmart an bought 2000 more rounds of 9mm. The staff did seems like good guys. I don't see my self spending 1penny there

Thanks for stopping by and visiting. The area does indeed have a big impact on our prices (real estate in Marin costs a lot more than out in the middle of nowhere ).

Our 9mm ammo is priced according to our ability to stock it. Unfortunately, we were only able to procure around 40 cases of 9mm from five separate distributors. We can't afford to run out, as you can imagine, and the price per case reflects that.

Congrats on finding 9mm at Walmart. We recently tried doing a personal ammo run to Walmarts in the area and not a single one of them had the ammo we were looking for in stock.

Bullseye isn't the place to go for bulk ammo purchases; you can get better prices online or at the big box retailers. Good luck finding our collection of Kimbers or Sigs at Walmart though .

Again, thank you for stopping by and we hope that you'll come by again and give us another try.

Bullseye is not Turners, nor do we wish to be like Turners.

Calguns customers of Bullseye: do you feel from your past experience shopping with us that we are in the same class as Turners? Is our staff friendly and well educated on CA law, or do we resort to fear mongering with rude and dismissive behavior?

What other inventory stocking FFL in the North Bay treats you with the same level of service when completing an internet transfer as when you are buying from our inventory? Regardless of price, we strive to treat all customers with the same level of respect and friendly service whether they're only completing a PPT, an internet transfer, buying accessories or multiple guns. Other stores will make you go to the back of the line or set arbitrary time restrictions on when they'll complete your transfers, or in some cases do anything they can to make you leave the store. Bullseye doesn't play those crappy games. We value our customers and will do everything possible to see you leave the story happy.

That decision was reversed before it was implemented. DedEye responded in the thread then had it deleted so that more people would not be confused by it. Unfortunately it was deleted too quickly and most people didn't see the final decision.

18-20 year olds can purchase a rifle or (buttstock equipped) shotgun at Bullseye just as they can anywhere else in the nation.

Lower receivers, unfortunately, require the buyer to be 21 years old since they are not "longguns." Still waiting to hear from Bill Wiese on whether lowers with buttstocks attached are legal for 18-20 year olds to purchase.

Contact Wes '10%' his ATF contact said lowers w/buttstock are OK for 18-20.

I was really pleased to hear that
I suggest starting a thread to dispel the rumor though as many stated they would not be shopping with you anymore.
(I was one of those till you mentioned it was reversed)

Not really. He's saying that making money isn't his priority. And that if he IS going to be away from his family working, it'd better be enough money to make it worth his while.

The sections you quoted aren't in disagreement with each other.

One states that Wes has a duty to his family to either spend time with them, or to not, at the expense of making as much money as possible. The latter quotation reinforces the decision to spend time with the family, and not to make as much money as possible.
