Does this look like "New" ammo?

I just went back to the product page and looked at the image there... it's right on the money with what they sent me - so I guess new or not I got exactly what was advertised...

The irony is if you look at the other 5.56 Reman ammo they look to be in way better shape than the new rounds...

I have purchased plenty of ammo, especially surplus ammo that looked the same if not worse than what you depicted. Freedom makes/sells good stuff, you should have no problem with it. The reason why the reman stuff looks nicer is because the brass is tumbled before reloading.

They probably didn't tumble the brass in media to cut cost. The issue is does it work?

That dent is nothing. I've bought factory sealed Lake City ammo that looked much worse.

Hah hah, seriously. When I got my 1k loose lake city green tips last time, they looked pretty bad. Dented, not polished, etc... But never had an issue.

Just a follow up guys on the ammo - I used all of it last week at Front Sight...

Everything from my order fired without any issues - quite perfectly actually. Thanks to everyone who responded to my concerns!
