I know it feels a little sketchy driving down to Encenata but it is, for the most part, safe. It helps if you or someone you're with speaks spanish. Just stay on the toll road. Stop in La Fonda for cocktails.

You'll also appreciate some of the weapons the federales carry.

When I was training down in San Diego me and a few buddies would go there every friday. Our trip always consited of parking at the duty free, buying the max amount of liquor and tobacco that you don't have to declare and then promptly returning to the US.

Like some of you guys never partied it up down there, or evey been to TJ, or Cabo, or Cancun.

I agree. Everybody whose ancestors came from a different country should move back to that country. If you are more than one nationality, you can pick which country. Hell, you should be able to become a dual citizen if you'd like. I just don't get why there is so much animosity against Mexicans and/or immigrants on this site. Whenever Mexico or immigrants are involved in a thread here, it always de-evolves into something like this.
