This is "old" news. (Okay not really old - but all this was announced six days ago.)
OSHA has not dropped the mandate - they still list it on their website: they are simply obeying the temporary stay on their moving forward to enforce it.
This headline and others I have seen today make it sound like OSHA pulled their Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS.) My understanding is that OSHA is still pursuing the ETS and fighting the suits in the courts and confident they will be victorious.
