        Was this reported to VAERS?

So what did the Dr say was the cause?

That is true. From my understanding, things like that experience his father had are supposed to be reported to VAERS. I find it telling that I know multiple people who had reactions, mostly mild, up to blood clots and almoat dying and none were reported to VAERS. When the couple people who knew about the reporting system asked for the reports to be filled out, they were told that the vaccine had nothing to do with the issues they had. That is illegal from my understanding, I could be wrong.

Coming up on 48 hrs since jab #2 of moderna. Sore at the injection site is only current side effect.
At 24 hrs I was a little tired with a mildly queasy stomach, but those seem to have dissipated.

I'm sorry your Dad had problems. When did this happen? Is he better now? Thanks for any follow up info. It helps those of us that are still in limbo.

We had 'something' back in FEB2020 after a trip to Disneyland. Started in the back of the throat, mild fevers, mild flu like symptoms. The dry hacking cough was crazy, for both of us. We were retching over the sink for days, sometimes 5-6 times a day. We hadn't been to China, so no testing was available. I was sore in parts of my upper back I'd never been sore before.

For my wife it was even worse. She'd miscarried (as in ER visit due to heavy bleeding, scramble a surgical team for that night for a D&C, etc) a few months before. She's always been anemic so this didn't help. She's a lot smaller, and at first that cough prevented her from holding down food. And then she couldn't hold down water for two days. Back to the ER, back to a hospital bed and they're pushing fluids for three days straight.

She had other problems later that sent her back to a hospital bed (two different stays, for at least 3-4 days each). The doctors were on the fence on whether or not to administer the vaccine, but they held off. She's about 104lbs on a good day and five foot four, and everyone gets the same dose, which is great for me (250lbs) but not for others.

Neither of us are under employer mandates. Got my Moderna in APR and MAY. No side effects, aside from a sore injection site. We think we had a spot of Delta two months ago, but who knows. The cough came back for us during that time, so we isolated again. Which for us is pretty easy. Her first Moderna was last month, and no issues. She had her second Moderna last week, and she's still kind of recovering. No serious symptoms, just a general fatigue issue. Both early 40s.

One more note. After we came back from Disneyland and got sick, the dog was also acting 'funny.' Saw this once before when he had kennel cough. He gets walked four times a day by me, and I always carry water for him. When he had the kennel cough (verified by the vet), there was one or two nights when I let him out to pee, he would come back and empty his water bowl at 10PM. He did that same thing when we think we were sick with COVID the first time. But he's a lot tougher than his hunams. And younger.

My wife is 5ft, 90lbs. Got the Pfizer in Dec, the 1st week they were available because she was working in a COVID lab. Hasnt had any issues at all. Its been 10mos since. She's had pretty much every vaccine thats available: Polio, Rabies, Yellow Fever, TDAP, Flu, etc...
