It may have already been asked (I haven't read entire thread)... what does your wife being a school teacher have to do with you 'having to get the shot'?

I dated a teacher for 5 years she got sick like 1-2 times a month, usually minor sometimes a bit major. She was lazy though, never worked out. She never seem to pass anything to me, and when i got really sick i never passed anything to her, but kids are super spreaders, thats what he is implying, I call them natural immuniry spreader, lets go!

Most get fever and body aches on the second which is normal.

Then go forth with life as usual, and do not post any more on this sub forum.

I took the Pfizer. Sore arm for 2 days after each shot. No other effects. Same with most everyone I know. Heard BIL felt tired after the second shot, but he's a liberal pu$$y so it figures.

                  Pfizer:
me, my wife, my sister, my cousin, my MIL, FIL, SIL, BIL, and about 30-40 friends, coworkers, and family.

                  Moderna: 5 coworkers

                  J&J: my mom.

I think the Moderna probably works the best as far as antigen levels after vaccination. Heard most people feeling tired or sick for a day with the Moderna.

I think getting the jab really comes down to how much you trust new technology. I am very trusting of new tech but I also work in tech. I work with a lot of Asians and they are all vaccinated. I think Asians have the highest vax rates. I think Asians also tend to adopt or trust new technologies faster than other groups.

Actually, everyone I know that works in tech, and many are not Asian, are all vaccinated. And these are pretty smart people who made the decision on their own. So I dont think they are all wrong.

Make of it what you will. Thats just my 2cents as someone who actually TOOK THE VACCINE and who personally knowsa lot of people who TOOK THE VACCINE. In fact EVERYONE I KNOW HAS TAKEN THE VACCINE.

I haven't responded to this thread because I'm not vaccinated but your post really made me think about something.

The tech industry is filled with the most myopic thought process of any group I have seen. There is no difference of opinion allowed.

I work as a contractor and for over 10 years, the vast majority of my customers were tech companies. No other industry had such group think on social issues. Any difference of opinion was silenced or worse. Many of my friends have left tech and taken pay cuts because they couldn't stand the stamping out of thier philosophy.

Don't get me started on Asians. Look at all the horrible things that happen in Asia because the population is too compliant.

I read through everyone's accounts. Nobody has any data on long-term effects.

Y'all that had no reaction in the short term might be infertile now and not know it. You might develop cancer in a year. You might have a bad reaction next time exposed to COVID. There are accounts of these side effects happening in the mid-term.

Without longterm data available, y'all do have a risk present even if you were the fortunate one to escape accute effects up front.

Follow the science? Yes, nobody that follows science would accept it without the longterm data first.
You are fooling yourself to think you are following science.

Got the shots, arm was a bit tender for a day or two, nothing else. No fever, no pain, no illness, it was similar to when I receive my annual flu shots.

My company has a 100% " I received the shots" rate - yes, everyone. Btw, we are a company of 50-60% PhDs in biology.

Five days after spouse got second shot, had cardiac event. Blood pressure at stroke levels. Ambulance trip to hospital, observed, then sent home. (Pre-existing anxiety issues went full tilt during all of it)
