Sad seeing so many scared sheep.
I will stand for truth even if I stand alone.

The last time I had faith in the News was when it was with Huey Lewis.

Cool graph! So there were indeed some "excess deaths." CDC is saying they're all covid, I'll bet they are also due to:
      - Increased suicide
      - Deferred or skipped care for existing conditions
      - Nursing homes being intentionally infected with covid
      - Flu (which is not being tracked any more)

But per the graph we've back to normal now, so no need to mask/distance any longer. Hospitals are certainly at normal capacity. (But perhaps the covid Trillions have not been spent yet, so the narrative must continue until those coffers have been emptied)

Based on that last graph, we seem to be trending well below average. What could have caused that?

30+ years as an executive in the Life Insurance Industry and I've been saying this for months.

Mortality tables have not changed. They came out in 2017 and were effective for ALL companies in 2020.

People born in 1949-1950 turned 70 last year, ALL of them had outlived their mortality at birth. Look at the Birth numbers, then factor in immigration, those over 70 were where most deaths occurred. IT was expected.

Over the next decade we will see more people dying...WHY? Because the peak birth years for Baby Boomers was 1952-1964.

If you look at the 2020 data there were ~300K excess deaths in 2020, ie it was not the same as years past as posited in the article.

However, of those 300K, 170K were in the age demographic of 15-54 which would mean those deaths were more likely to be from non covid causes.

Based on that last graph, we seem to be trending well below average. What could have caused that?
It could be covid accelerated the deaths of people who had many comorbidities so they died earlier than should have been expected. It wouldn't surprise me to see 2021 total deaths to be lower than the expected 2020 deaths.

Many of the old and informed that would normally be dying now were taken by the wu-flu 6 months ago. This **** is over.

Our hypersensitivity to hygiene and our isolation now could well even drive that statistic down further.

The page explicitly states that there is a reporting lag, and we had a recent thread about this.

Reporting lag resolves it self in a month or so. The above graph dropped below seasonal average 2-months ago. The foot note on the chart says one to 8 weeks lag is possible. We are now past that time frame. So, by their own data we are back to normal.

I believe this is accurate. There will be studies to confirm this.

Not sure I understand your premise. Mitigations put in place to slow SARS-CoV-2 would have been far more effective on influenza -- mainly, limiting mobility of children. It's not surprising to see that signal disappear.
