I vaguely recall reading an article some years back about parkerized A5s or Rem M11s. I somewhat remember something about war time production or war converted guns. Please show some photos of you shotgun, especially if there are any proof marks. I am by no means an expert on this subject but it did trigger a little flashback in my memory!!

A5s are good to go....been hunting with them forever (belgian, not japanese)....my grandfather, dad and I all used them for ducks out in the delta (browns island)....
Ive got other shotguns as well, franchi I-12, Ben M4 etc....but those old A5s will be with me till the end...

At that price I would say jump on it, even if it needs some tuning I think itll be worth the investment for what youll have in the end.

I would ask if it cycles. If it does, $200 is not bad.
Im considering doing this with my remington model 11(A5 clone) but havnt been able to find the plastic bits for a 20ga.

I've shot an A5 once in my life, and I'd totally jump on this.

Even if it's a project gun, it sounds like a worthwhile project...

I've written up my ongoing adventures as I learn to hunt.

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.

I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.

I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.

Funny, I've shot them and I can't stand the things.. Dad used to swear by his.. until he could afford to upgrade every couple of years.. I never could hit the broad side of a barn with that thing.. Not my cup of tea.
