    Vepr 12 questions

    First ....

1.) Its legal in CA right?
2.) Can the folding stock gun be replaced with the fixed wooden stock?
3.) Can the folder be fixed or returned to folder?
4.) Is the folding stock receiver different then the fixed receiver?
5.) Does the gun come in an 18 inch or short barrel?
6.) Does the brake help recoil or is it just for looks?

-------------------->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>And last do any shops carry this in Socal?

      Thanks.......

Is there a Socal gun store for the Vepr at a good price like some web vendors?

      3. The folder is welded. It can only be folded if the overall length of the shotgun in it's shortest configuration is 30 inches

      4. I'm not exactly sure on this one. If you look at the rear trunnion you'll see on different VEPR 12s that there are different rivets on the receiver. I'm sure you can swap out stocks though

      5. I believe they will come with 18" barrel

      6. I'm sure the brake works. If you've ever shot an AK with just a muzzle nut compared to the slant brake or 74 brake, there is a very noticeable difference

I should be DROSing my VEPR 12 this Friday

I'm not from SOCAL but I highly doubt it. I'm getting mine from Atlantic Firearms and I got it for $799. Do the math and calculate tax and DROS fee and internet transfer I'm guessing it might be like $850 OTD for me

From what I understand because this is a semiautomatic shotgun with a detachable magazine, it has to have a bullet button whether it has a pistol grip or not

I have one... since the folding stock is welded, all you need is a bullet button. and make sure you get the GK-01 muzzle brake for it. Have fun!
If you need help with any stragglers, call a friend, because it's likely that they have a gun. America in particular have done exceptionally well taking care of the problem, as there are 1.12 guns for every 1 American citizen. So throw a rock, you'll probably hit a gun, pick up that gun, then shoot a zombie.

                  Uhhhh

You need a new calculator. The price at Atlantic with BB is $874.00 (includes shipping) and then 75 from your dealer + TAX $72 tax + DROS and you are more like $1,050

It NEEDS A bullet button in CA. kydex wrap will not work on a semi auto detachable shotgun.

Also, no matter what the Overall length, a semi shotgun cannot have both a pistol grip and a folding/collapsible stock. Choose one.

I am not aware of any stocks on the market that can replace the folder yet.
I believe these guys are working on one to adapt an AR style collapsable stock...

... but would that even be legal in CA?

I saw what may be either a Saiga 12 or a Vepr 12 at Parallax Tactical in San Diego.... can't really tell the difference without looking at the internals. (Vepr 12 internals are all chrome lined).

They are really good guys, give them a shot!
