        I prefer to remove the plastic fouling when I clean......brass brush with 10x bore cleaner....followed by patches....then a pass or two with a Tica spryed with oil.

                There was still visible fouling after one pass with the snake but my bore looked brand new after firing some slugs and buck.

                    I don't know if I'm lazy, but I only use my Boresnake on my 12g. I think it looks clean and shiny when finished.
