Trap Gun. Single or double barrel

I'd suggest a 30" O/U Sporting model. This could give you more flexibility if you should get into other clay games. I shoot my 30" sporting guns in skeet/trap/sporting clays...

Personally, I would not limit myself to a single shot trap gun. if you haven't shot doubles trap, you are missing out on a ton of fun.

The nice thing about a combo or over under is you are shooting the same stock for multiple events. If you buy a single barrel now and decide to shoot doubles later, you are either buying a new gun (not necessarily a bad thing )or shooting a different gun that will shoot differently.

Once my gun is fitted, I set it and forget it knowing it is shooting where I need it to shoot.
