If I can square up my stance that would be cool. I don't have very short arms but one thing I don't like is the reach of the fore end. it seems like I am over extended. Also don't like the distance between the receiver and my cheek placement. Seems too long.

12" LOP stock?

There are trade offs ... It's just what you feel comfortable with. I shoot a long LOP because I can bent my front elbow a lot and I like that feeling while shooting. The gun does come very close to my body when I shoot. There are other top Skeet guys that have their forearm fully extended kinda like how an AR combat shooter would!
Do you mean you DON'T like the receiver too far away from your face?Wanna learn to shoot SKEET? I am here to introduce all shooters to the sport of SKEET Shooting ....

I was in the same boat. Factory standard LOP was just too long. I tried the factory 12" LOP and way too short. I now have a Hogue standard LOP (says its 14") and it is perfect with a softer recoil pad. I tried the Hogue 12" LOP on a Remington 870 and it is way too short. I didn't like my face up on the receiver on either shotgun. Hope it works out for you but ideally a 13" LOP would be nice to see standard from the factory.Comment
